Terms and Conditions – GFC Packers and Movers
By availing the services of GFC Packers and Movers, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all packing, moving, transportation, and storage services provided in Bangalore and across India.
1. Service Agreement
Once your booking is confirmed, you agree to the discussed service plan, schedule, and charges. Any modifications to the agreed scope must be communicated in advance and approved by us.
2. Quotation and Payment
All quotations are prepared based on the details shared by the client.
Final costs may change in case of additional items, extra services, or delays attributable to the client.
An advance payment is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable before unloading or final delivery.
3. Packing and Handling
Our team ensures careful packing, handling, and transportation of goods using quality materials.
We are not responsible for goods packed by the customer or fragile items not declared in advance.
Prohibited, hazardous, or illegal items will not be packed or transported.
4. Transportation
Transit times provided are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.
Clients will be notified in case of significant delays.
All goods are transported at the client’s risk unless covered under transit insurance.
5. Insurance
Insurance is optional and must be requested prior to the move.
Claims can only be raised if insurance has been opted for and confirmed before transit.
Without insurance, GFC Packers and Movers will not be liable for damage or loss caused by accidents, theft, fire, or natural calamities.
6. Storage Services
All stored items must be listed and acknowledged by both parties.
Storage charges are billed monthly and payable in advance.
Items left beyond the agreed period without renewal or payment may be disposed of after due notice.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the move may qualify for a partial refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours may result in service charges or forfeiture of the advance.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be communicated ahead of time.
8. Liability and Claims
GFC Packers and Movers will not be responsible for losses or damages caused by inaccurate declarations, customer-packed goods, or delays due to force majeure.
Any claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
Claims will be settled in line with insurance terms, if applicable.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Provide complete and accurate details about the items to be relocated.
Ensure presence or representation during packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking.
Secure valuables, important documents, and personal belongings separately, as we do not accept responsibility for these.
10. Jurisdiction
All legal matters, claims, or disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Bangalore, Maharashtra.
